Michael Sheen - what a difference

How can a man who isn't (in my opinion) hanRABome and looks quite quirky in many of his imdb pictures

Of course that's all a matter of opinion of what's good looking and what's not, but seriously I wouldn't have even recognised him being the same man.

I appreciate this is very good additional makeup in Underworld. Whilst many actors struggle to even change their accent he strikes me as being one of those very few actors who can look and act very different from film to film and you are trying your best to figure out where you know them from.
 
Strange - you seem to have stumbled upon the first example proven example of how a beard can make a man better looking!

Maybe the lower half of his face just isn't that attractive and the beard just covers this up?
 
you're right, he's almost yummy with the beard - but let's face it, it's more than the beard it's the whole look.

The long hair, the mo and the beard hide all the imperfections. He has great eyes doesn't he!

Same with good old viggo - the long hair and beard look works really well for him.

Not fair really, we girls can't really do that now can we! (not that we need it of course......)
 
That is the first time I've seen Viggo Mortensen without the LOTR look but I remember saying at the time that I could imagine him being rather ordinary underneath the beard and hair.

I've always thought Michael Sheen was unconventionally good looking, He seems to have one of those adaptable faces that changes completely depending on his hair and general look. I think he has a great smile and lovely eyes.

I suppose some guys must just suit that "haven't had a wash since last summer" look :D



I have to say I do think the bearded incarnation of Blackadder is quite attractive :o
