Meteor Movies-am I in miniority preferring Deep Impact to Armageddon?

Just wondered, Armageddon seemed corny to me, liked the earnestness(is that a word) of Deep Impact

Yh i loved Deep Impact great special effects as for Armageddon what a crap film Bruce Willis standing on a meteor about to blow whilst Aerosmith plays in the background does not get any cheeseyer than that lol.

I'm rather fond of both. But they are very different.

One is superb, bloke-ish Friday night entertainment - beer, takeaway etc.

And the other comparatively cerebral one, is fine for a Christmas afternoon or whenever.

i love Deep Impact bu do not care for Armegeddon. I would'nt say you wer ein the minority at all, it's widely accepted that Deep Impact is a much better film.

Much prefer deep impact,its a better made film and much well ...deeper than armaggeddon lol could indentify more with the characters,only thing i didnt like was the comet itself,i dont think we'd see it trailing across the sky like that,there would b about 3 secs from when it came in2 the atmosphere to it hitting earth and it would be white hot killing everything remotely near it,so i read anyways lol
