Metal Gear Movie Scrapped?!

i have been hearing that the MGS movie has been scrapped

In a way im kinda glad becuase Hollywood would have probaly butchered it BUT in another way it could of been really good.

And to probaly confirm this there is NO updates whatsoever i type in google and the last update was September 2007. So we will probaly never see a MGS for a while yet.

All movies based on computer games seem to be end up being a bit shit anyway. It's probably for the best.
