metal chat

QOTSA is amazing. good choice urban.

in flames, invocation of nehek, beneath the sky, my children my bride (yes i heard them through myspace. **** off), dark tranquility, black dahlia murder, summers end, three faces of eve, unearth, trivium

I'm a huge Iron Maiden fan. Who isn't though? Then my other favorites would be Slayer, Dimmu Borgir, CoF, Children of Bodom...Cannibal Corpse! Yeah, I listen to a bunch of banRAB...

if any of you haven't got unhallowed by the black dahlia murder then get it right now.

" i've seen the creation of this world and i'll see it all reduced to ash with the blink of a sunken eye i see one hundred winters pass"

I'm mostly a hardcore/metalcore gal, but here's some of my real metal favs:

Megadeth
Old Metallica
Anthrax
MetalChurch
Judas Priest
Maiden
Napalm Death
Ozzy
Black Label Society
and of course...Pantera

I'm actually getting into Doom/Stoner metal now.
I'm digging Bongzilla at this moment.

My Dying Bride is a great band, but their doom metal so they're alot slower, a bit gothic
I got Noveraber's Doom's new CD The Pale Haunt Departure recently. I have only listened to it for one day because my friend has to review it for his website, but I think its pretty good so far. Though I am dissapointed that I didn't hear their female vocalist yet, I think she left the band

Actually Kerrang magazine did a poll amongst it`s readers to find the top 100 metal albums of all time around 10/12 years ago.

Led Zeppelin`s Physical Graffiti came top.

I remeraber the last ever metal album I bought. It was Morbid Angel`s Blessed Are The Sick around 10 years ago.

I remeraber listening to it thing 'Christ this is **** , why am I wasting my life listening to this crap'

I`ve not bought another metal album since , unless you count QOTSA the odd Motorhead live album.
