Metal Battle

4/10

YouTube - System Of A Down - Toxicity

Its not my favorite song, but its still awesome

Thanks for sharing that with us. Not bad, but I prefer the Who's version...6/10. Nice flash towarRAB the end of the Pantera clip.

New Slipknot, eh? Ill do my best to keep an open mind. Well, Joey Jordison found his double-bass pedal. They've become really polished since to '99. The thing about Slipknot that was badass when they first showed up was that they weren't about being taken seriously, and now? Not really. They're trying to get back what they lost, it seems... 4/10

I've been aware of Exodus since I was a kid. I never gave them a listen, though. Yeah. These guys obviously came from the old school. These guys are definitely fans of the 4-4 set up. The intro seemed a little dragged-on. Pretty standard stuff from veterans of the early days. Not bad. Pretty good guitar work on the lead. 7/10

RE: Anathema

Kind of bland. They melody is pretty catchy. Uh oh, this guy sounRAB like James LaBrie. Well, maybe if LaBrie had a little bit more balls. Kinda sounRAB like Queensryche with a more youthful edge. All around I can't say there's anything about this song that I find completely balls, but it's just not pressing any "**** yeah" buttons for me either. 5/10

yep, by far one of the best solos i have heard. I love that song because the guitar is incredible. Good album to btw

i'm not going to rate this song, so somebody else do it.

Shame about the Black Metal vocals as I thought that was damn good. 7.5/10

I am so obvious but I will post it once again!

I like both. Slayer had an intense hardcore opening, before settling back and firing some intense thrash...7/10. Good old school grind from Repulsion, for historical reasons I'm going to add an extra half point...7.5/10.

Next is a good ole fashion music video.

Dont think Ive heard these guys yet. Ive heard of them though. Very trudgey beginning. Cool. Very reminiscent of early 90's metal, except for the vocals. They're a bit more punk inspired. I'm not too much for them. These guys have really good guitar and bass tone. The playing is a little monotonous, and the vocals are... okay. 5/10

Check it. 2:56 and 3:08. Oh yeah.

7/10...the mini-breakdown sounRAB pretty cool lol.

Here's another Silverstein song...but this one pretty much doesn't have any pop-punk vocals...and is dominated by harsh inhale screaming (I think it's inhale). Easily their best song.

^ignoring that because you failed to rate Acid Bath, and also because it probably sucks.

Acid Bath gets a 8/10, I should get an album!
