Metal Battle

I listened to a bunch of Larab of God songs before I realized that I think they suck. That is - they can sound pretty good but I don't think they make good metal. The vocalist consistently shows off his one chop and the rest of the band plays stuff that is way too simple for how big they sound. They kind of tricked me. Admittedly the BTP stuff was better than they are now and I give them an A for effort in keeping metal alive but...5/10.

I know this song is old hat but it achieves what Larab of God might have if they knew their way around metal better.

This is the first Behemoth video I've seen. Yeah. These Pollocks can fuckin' shred. Inferno is one of the fastest drummers I've ever heard. I like this song. And the video is actually pretty cool, too. All in all, awesome. 8/10

Yeah, I can see this. Its more along the lines of what metal started as, which was basically the heaviest stuff from blues rock, which was best exemplified in banRAB like Mountain, Deep Purple and Blue Cheer. Its cool, and being that this is the Rock/Metal forum, I'll give it some bonus points, although the thread is titled "Metal Battle".

I'm not much for the "****ty haircut, throw-my-guitar-around, A.D.D.-core" vein, mainly because we had more than our fair share of that where I'm from, but I dig this tune. Not to mention, this girl is a pretty ****in' good vocalist.
 
Hmmm yeah not too bad heard worse but ive heard waaaaaaaaaaay better tho good rythm to it all but the second set of vocals cmpletely left a sour taste in the mouth :(

Hmm sorry but thats just not my cup of tea. SounRAB just a little too messy with way too many tempo changes. 3/10
