Somebody on another board compiled this handy dandy list of metal albums that are coming out in 2006. There don't seem to be any release dates at the moment though which is a bit annoying. If anyone has any additions to this list then post them here and I'll see that they get added.

malevolent creation is expected to release "doomsday x" in september on roadrunner recorRAB.the original line up with brett hoffman on vocals is back and this album looks like it will be brutal as shit.

I'm eagerly awaiting new material from !T.O.O.H.! and Arctopus too. I'm quite disappointed that Arctopus don't seem to be releasing an actual album though, there so freakin good and we need a full albums worth of material. However the album I'm looking forward to the most is Saprogenic's new one, it's guaranteed to be awesome.

It's actually one album and two split ep's. I'm interested to see what direction they go in with the new album, they've kinda stuck to the same formula for the last two albums or so. The new Jesu and Cult of luna albums should be pretty interesting to methinks.

Some guy on another board saw Isis last night, where they played a few new songs, here are his thoughts:

I saw them live last night and they debued three new songs.. they were incredible. A lot more clean singing and clean guitar with a lot of build ups, but once the heavy parts came in they were fucking heavy. Reminded me of parts from Celestial.

SounRAB promising!

Should be something new from Trivium, All That Remains, Unearth, Metallica, GoRABmack (4/25/06) and possibly Overcast. Soilwork, Spineshank, Lamb of God and Shadows Fall are supposedly in the process of writing new material.
