Messenger apps -- rabble

Ok I am game I just got one of these this week, it came with rabble on it, so I go to use it, and it is now telling me that it wants me to pay like 3 bucks for it.

Why would they put a app on there and then charge for it? Or should I e-mail cricket and have them toss it on? Or am I just being to cheap?

I see that the apps have timelimits on them.. goofy, I am a total cheapskate. I guess that's why I am with cricket. Oh well. Lesson learned, no apps are free.

From what I can tell it is a social networking kind of thing. mini-blog that works with the phone. Looks like a way to blog from your phone using a app not the wap. I guess it is neat if one is into that kind of thing.

It isn't that they are subscription based, it is that the apps that come on the messenger are trial programs (rabble, street fighter II, are you smarter than a 5th grader) and I just wasn't aware that they were trialware.

... of course... once you're hooked you will want to buy it... or they can trick you into clicking on purchase.

again tho... many carriers and manufacturers include demo versions of applications on the phones..
