Sorry if this is old i cant search. The album came out in may, i just picked it up. I cant say i like it as much as thier other stuff yet. the songs are all very short but the music is still just as good. idk maybe just a bad first listen.

anyone elses thoughts?
 
Its an average album at best. Destroy Erase Improve is the only meshuggah album that I really get on with, the rest have just missed the mark somewhat.

Have you ever heard of Sol Niger Within by Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects's? Its basically a solo album from Meshuggah's guitarist (Fredrik Thordendal). It's along the same lines as Meshuggah's stuff but it's much weirder and more technical. It's beats the pants off catch 33 and thats for sure!
