I know! I think I love them because they're SO INCREDIBLE and cute and so close to Tessa and Scott and yet SO DIFFERENT than Tessa and Scott at the same time. Running into each other on campus, giving each other a funny look, and walking away? LOL. I love it. I read in some other article that Meryl's birthday is on January 1st, so last New Year's Eve Charlie threw her a big party at his apartment on campus. I think that's so sweet. I also love how in that NBC interview Charlie mentioned that he benefits from her being in a sorority because he meets so many girls. :lmao:

middiegurl08, I think you're right about Tessa and Scott being able to sell romance better than Meryl and Charlie. I have to admit though, that after having watched so many of Meryl and Charlie's performances, I think that they just sell a different kind of romance on the ice. They like to do more dark, tragic pieces (Samson and Delilah, Phantom of the Opera, Billie Jean, etc.). Samson and Delilah in particular is a story of love and ultimately - betrayal, just as Phantom of the Opera highlights a beautiful yet incredibly twisted love story.

On the other hand, Tessa and Scott seem to have gone for more sweet, fun, loving romance pieces (Mahler, Jack and Diane, etc.) Even Umbrellas of Cherbourg and Valse Triste, while they had sad endings, seemed more light and airy to me than much of what Meryl and Charlie have done. I do think that Tessa and Scott are the most natural in their expression (like I mentioned before, they don't seem to be acting, or at least over-acting, ever) while Meryl and Charlie do "act" more on the ice. I read in an interview somewhere that their coaches have to work on expression with Charlie much more than they do with Meryl (or Tessa and Scott I would imagine).

And both of those thread titles are winners! I especially love the "we're physically abusive to each other" one because I love that interview. :D

Finally...I mean seriously, how can you NOT love these two?????

I absolutely LOVE this picture, I love how effortless they make it look - and aww, look same university. Like I said BFF's forever and ever and ever. LOL, whether they know it or not they spend a LOT of time together. OT: Meryl and Jeremy (Abbotts) friendship is honestly the most adorable thing!

I'm actually glad M/C won the FD portion of Worlds...this program was explosive! It was just perfect! They insane speed...I have to say though...for some reason I'm not a huge fan of their twizzles/footwork sequences that go along with twizzles...idk why, but I see theirs then I think of TS's and I feel like TS's are a lot more flowey. But they do have great power throughout the entire performance...it was also funny looking over and seeing Marina and Igor with their heads high watching them execute every move correctly...ahaha, true Russians ;)

Samson and Delilah is AMAZING! Holy crap - I love that FD, they had such sweet moments in there and then just explosiveness!
