I have a friend. He lives in Vernon, and was supposed to be home yesterday.

Never made it. Today, I heard he hit a deer with his car and rolled down a 300-foot bank. His car's totalled. He's in a coma.

The good thing is he's in good care and they expect him to recover. No, he wasn't speeding. I tried to find a newspaper article about it, but all the newspaper sites here blow donkey balls. Fuckers.

I'll keep looking until I find one.

Such a shame when tragedy strikes on the Holidays... I've had something similar occur a few years ago with my Grandma and Uncle. I know how rough it can be for you, but keep your spirits up and hope for the best!

That so sux that your friend got hurt. I seriously just lit a candle for him and the people who love him...I placed it next to a candle that is already burning in loving memory of Spider (Edwin), who was my most sacred and cherished friend. Spider died last year (on Christmas Eve). So I can definitely identify with the animosity you are feeling toward this particular holiday... However, My five year old little girl's joyous anticipation has done wonders for reminding me that no matter what trials and tribulations we're forced to endure, we should still count our blessings. And there is always room for hope. Hope and Jello.;)
Just hang in there sweetie.
