Mercury Sable and Ford Taurus transmission help...?

Hi, I have a 1990 Ford Taurus with a 3.0 V6 and a 1992 Mercury Sable with a 3.0 V6 and I was needing to find out if the transmission would fit out of the Taurus in to the Sable...any help is appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!
 
Yes it would.

Same cubic inch, same chassis same frame, same features. The only difference is the upgraded luxuries on the Sable. IT WILL FIT
