Mercury in retrograde?

Someone I know told me that Mercury is currently in retrograde- is this true because as far as Iwas aware it was in January till February then wasnt due to be again till may? If it is it would certainly explain a few things to me right now!

This is the ASTRONOMY section, not ASTROLOGY. Big difference.

One is a ligitimate branch of science, requiring objective evidence before putting forth an idea, and always seeking to refine our understanding of how the universe works.

The other is pseudoscientific babble that has no supporting evidence whatsoever, and that despite what some people believe has absolutely no bearing on our individual or collective lives.

I leave it to you to figure out which is which.

That said, Mercury is not in retrograde motion.
