MENSA Take Home Test Questions - Number Sequences #35?

I had some trouble with the number sequence questions they were asking me. I was unable to find any obvious anomiles.

Directions: In each row of numbers, there is one that does not belong. Find the number that should be omitted from each row among the answers below and mark it on your Scantron answer sheet. (34-40)

35. 7 9 10 13 16 19

1. 7
b. 9.
c. 10
d. 13
e. 19

Any give any reason why the answer you chose is current. I just don't know what I am looking for. I always get these right.
Oh no.

I already submitted my test answers. I am going over what I feel I got wrong.

I am not changing anything.

The number that should be taken off is 9 (Option b). If this number is taken off, then the remaining numbers will have a common difference of 3 between two consecutive ones.

Hope this helps.

It doesn't make any sense to cheat on your take-home test. Don't you want an honest and accurate measurement of your intellectual capacity? And when (or IF) you take a monitored MENSA test, you won't be able to cheat then!
