Say for example:

when you do have a crush on a girl, do you tell your guy friends and ask them for help or advice?

When you have sexual problems do you ask for advice?
 
yes i do i see nothing wrong with it i mean that could help you on your approach when it comes to talking to the girl in some cases i actually talk to my female friends also
