Memory stick won't reformat - write protected?

I officially hate this memory stick. I was having problems with it before so I was told to reformat it. It came up with an error saying it couldn't reformat. I tried again, and now messages saying it is write protected keep coming up. The problem is, now I can't get onto my memory stick because it keeps saying it needs to be formatted, and I can't format it because it is write protected.

Please help T_T
 
Are you using a disc to reformat it? Dont do that, cause it wont really work. You should go to My computer>Go to your usb memory stick>Right click on it> and click format.Let me know if it still wont work.
