Memento

Anybody a fan of this movie.......its in my top 5 of all time very creative story line

for those who havnt seen it the premis of this movie is a man who cannot make new memories tries to find out who murderd his wife....he puts notes on pictures and tatoos on his body.....the movie starts at the end and enRAB at the beginning but the plot is always going forward

this movie has one of the best endings of all time and is defintly worth checking out

I bought it and watched it on high recommendation. Didn't enjoy it.

Could be I have to watch it again, but I was so unimpressed, I don't think I'd bother.

I enjoyed the film, for anyone that gets confused with movies like that, they can watch the 2nd disc in special edition version.
It plays the film in correct order.

Great concept; well executed. The structure of the film reflecting the experiences of the main character. Are there any other films that work in a similar fashion?

There are plenty of films that use one instance of amnesia to create mystery and tension (just watched Mulholland Drive for one) but the total loss of medium and long term memory seems original.

This is in my top three.

Great cast, clever film. Think it's quite underrated really - I've watched it a few times and once you're clear on exactly what's going on it all clicks into place. I put my hanRAB up to not totally getting it the first time I watched it.

In the movie before Memento, "Following" theres a batman sticker on some guys appartment door too. Apparently its down to him being a big batman/comic fan.

One of my fave's as well. Memento is a film that neeRAB to be watched without distraction as you need to follow the story closely if you're to make sense of the plot! It's interesting to try and figure out the sequence of events in real time, given that everything is reverse!

I don't know whether this is old news but evidently there's an Easter Egg on the DVD that allows you to watch the film in chronological order.

Thought it was a good film, clever and inventive. I got it first time but I know I ought to watch it again.
For some reason though, I just have never wanted to when I've had the chance.

This thread has given me the push, next time it's on I'll make the effort.
