Hi .. just back from LA, whilst there we did a tour of stars homes, famous places and such and we ate at Mels diner .. now this was used in a film called American Graffiti .. who directed this? My boyf thinks it was Speilberg but were not sure

Ne-one confirm?
 
Thankyou .. of course it was .. its weird how neither of us could remember .. even though we haad only done the tour that day .. too much info for our tiny braincells i guess :D
 
Hey I,ve been to Hollywood 4 times did you by any chance go to Boardners bar, It's featured in quite a few movies and a real hang out for movie stars. I saw Drew Barrymore there once and met Russell Crowe. Did you go to Universal Studios?
 
Nope didnt go there .. whereabouts was it? The bar i mean.

Didnt do Universal either as went to the one in Orlando last year and we figured it would pretty much be the same .. did u go?
 
Just to add a bit more to this post, Venice High school on Venice blvd was used for the exterior scenes in Grease, the actual interior scenes were filmed at Huntington Park High school which is in Huntington park,downtown LA. The carnival scene at the end was filmed at John Marshall high school in Silverlake. If you had have gone to Universal studios you would have seen all the original sets used for such films as Back to the future,Halloween,Best little whore house in Texas,The Flintstones and the original Psyco house and props from Jurassic Park. Venice Beach has also been seen in movies and the gucci shop in Beverly Hills was in Romey and michelles High school Reunion, It was used for the exterior of the shop they ended up owning at the end of the film....Anyway I've waffled on enough, just thought you might be interested.. :)
