Does anyone get melasma from their birth control pills and do you have a medication that helps?
 
Is that the skin discoloration from uneven pigment? If so, use a skin lightner all over to help even it out. Paula's Choice makes one. Jojoba oil also helps even out tone, but maybe not as quickly.
 
Awesome...thanks! Yes, I have these little brown spots all over...nice...acne clears up and now I have brown spots!!
 
Funny thing for me was that I get melasma (only just above my upper lip) after I had been off birth control pills for a few months. I got it from being out in the sun. Tanning a little helps to even out my complexion and hides the red marks, but then I get this mustache-looking thing! LOL, life's funny, huh?
 
The best product I have found for melasma is Primacy Phyto + by Skinceuticals...it is $65 a bottle but a little goes a long way...it even prevents acne scars if you put it on pimples.
 
Have been on Seasonale for approx 2 1/2 years. This Spring I began noticing my pigment mustache...

I use tons of sunblock and cover with makeup.

Want to know if Seasonale is the culprit. I have spent plenty of time in the sun in the past years and never noticed a mustache!
