Yet again Mel Gibson will be involved with a movie that will involve some English bashing, was it not enough that Braveheart was historically incorrect that he now has to be involved with the Viking invasion of England and Scotland, see here:

I am sure that the history will be rewritten to make the film better.

Never really liked him at all, not because of any perceived 'English bashing', there's just something fundamentally unlike-able about him. Bit of a tosser.
 
I'm not sure about this one - Mel seems to be implying he's going to be playing one of the villagers ("I want to see somebody who I have never seen before speaking low, guttural German who scares the living - out of me coming up to my house."). If so, one assumes he's personally going to be doing a bit of Viking-bashing, rather than Brit-bashing.

Whatever...bashing will undoubtedly be involved.
 
I liked Ricky Gervais's gag on The Golden Globes TV thing.

He was musing on the
amount of booze being imbibed at the tables :


" I mean I like a drink as much as the next man........................ but not if the next man is Mel Gibson ........."
