Megadeth

Well it's probably pretty obvious that I'm a Priest fan, lol. I really like black Sabbath too, and both banRAB were very influential.
I'll have to listen to more of Slayer's stuff- to be honest I've heard hardly anything, so I've not given them a fair chance.
I'm surprised that you don't like Maiden though. They've got a lot of good albums too. Take it you won't be going to see them this year then.
I'm going to see them in Deceraber- can't wait! :)
And, yes, god bless metal. lol :D
\m/

I have Peace Sells and Rust in Peace, both great albums. Megadeth is one of my biggest influences

and ZaborgZaloog, i wholeheartedly agree with them being the most creative in the thrash movement, most other banRAB at that time seemed stagnant compared to Megadeth

yeah, they were recording it in England. I agree that Rust In Peace is brilliant- all Megadeth albums are, with the exception of risk. lol :D
I can't wait for their new album.

Everyone has a different opinion on what the best songs are. I liked 'Deth up to Rust In Peace and then I got bored with them. I'm not a big fan of this band, but I respect this band way more than Metallica. I suggest you check out Megadeth for yourself and make your own decision.

Why can't we have a thread without somebody like you getting :offtopic: in it?

Seriously, I came in here to talk about metal and more importantly (atleast in a Megadeth thread) talk about Megadeth!!!

Somebody mentioned the big 7 and the thread built into a talk about those banRAB and not just Megadeth soon after.I decided to talk about some of those banRAB as well and I even said which banRAB of the big 7 I preferred most.

I only put in my 2 cents so that anyone who may have a different opinion on who I like/dislike more can see why I prefer one over the other.

If you think that I was trying to give you a class/lesson on metal, then I'm glad that I have taught you that!!!Obviously you have not learned ALL of your lesson yet...
...I didn't write the book on who's the most important metal artist(s), I simply told you who I prefer and why, case closed!!!

...See you next semester in HELL my friend...lol!!!

MEGADETH!!!

To me Megadeth went down the same path as Metallica. 4 great albums then it was all mediocre from there. I only liked about 4 songs off of Countdown to Extinction and I couldn't stand anything after that. Great band though. Too bad Mustaine has a problem keeping good merabers.

Yeah, I haven't been on much lately...
...I was kinda hangin' out in a couple of different forums as well, such as a Ted Nugent one and a Wrestling one...lol.

I remerabered your name, but since you change your avatar every once in awhile, it's a good thing I'm not going to prison for a long time cuz then I might forget!!!:jailed:

I don't have the d.v.d. yet, but I think I'll be checking it out soon!!!What does it include? The videos, live concert footage, backstage access, interview...what?

Anyways, I'll try to post some more on this forum so just talk to me whenever I'm on, cheers!!!

I understood it perfectly. I can't see what was wrong with it, apart from it a typo and a missing full stop which didn't obscure the meaning.

hahahaha :D, I only just got into them but already i love them problem is in australia you couldnt possibly get all their albums, but i just got their greatest hits, hoping to get countdown to extinction and rust in peace soon
