Meeting Man off the Net?

Okay..so i been talking to this guy on-line for about a year now..we all go to this chat-room, there's 'regulars' in there, he is one and I go there quite often too. Anyway..i been flirting with him on-line for about the past month now, we eventually swapped numbers, then pics..we both liked the look of one another. We live over 100 miles apart. Anyway..he has been telling me how much he would like to make love to me..etc..and i have been enjoying the attention myself..plus i haven't had a man in my life for a while. So cut a long story short..he has booked a room in a swanky hotel, with gym,sauna, and dinner for two in my home town next week Wednesday, he wants me to stay the night and make love. The idea does excite me, but I'm also nervous as I've never did anything like this before. I spoke to my best friend about it, and told her i would give her all his details in the event i do decide to go (for safety)..but I'm just curious too know other people's opinions on this matter..and whether they have did anything similar ..if so..any tips..etc...
