meet the fockers

I don't know how good the film will be but I'd like to take the opportunity to congratulate the makers of the film for getting the title passed the censors.
 
Didn't they have to prove that a real family exists (just one) with that surname or something in order to get it past the censors? I might have dreamed this!! :)
 
Its a good movie, pretty much the same formula as the first. Didn't like the baby though much in it and got quite a rise when Greg gave it some sign language of his own. I like Hoffman's performance in this film a lot he was hilarious especially doing Caopeira.
 
Political correctness? How about its very close to a curse word thats not allowed in movie titles.

I found this movie mildly entertaining. Not as good as the first.
 
I got to see the movie in US with the rest of my family and have to say 4 out of 5 of us were disappointed to the point that I was nodding off in the middle of it!

Both Dustin & De Niro were just trying tooooo hard to be funny that it's verging on overacting ( didn't think I'll mention that word next to those 2 legenRAB' names but there you are)!

Rather overlong and tedious, slapstick comedy at the worst!

i liked it, though it was funny, too many ppl are putting this film down, for cryin out loud, just look at it as a comedy film, its funny.
i liked it, but knowing the fourms, sum1 will now try to convince me that im stupid, that i have no taste in films, that i must be an idiot, that i dont know what im talking about, etc, and i aint in a good mood, so if u are gonna try it, **** You!, i dont care
 
I remember Stan Boardman being shunned by TV execs for doing a joke concerning the German wartime aircraft, The Focker. You get the picture, the focker bombed our chip shop etc etc.

But now I see Hollywood has gathered, arguably, some of the greatest acting talent in the business to do exactly the same. Focker this and focker that. Well, I suppose it will be funny if you like Stan Boardman.

WHAT A WASTE!
