Meet The Fockers

Anyone see this last night? Is it just me, or is it a sequel that is actually better than the original? Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand are such brilliant choices for the polar opposites of the Byrnes's.

I really liked the original, and rolled my eyes when they announced the sequel with the aforementioned Hoffman and Streisand. However I have to say I think they really made the film.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, and have ordered the DVD this morning!

I didn't watch it last night but I do agree with you it's much better than the first film. In fact, I saw 'Meet the Fockers' first, thought it was excellent and then watched 'Meet the Parents' and I was quite disappointed.

I seen it last night and loaRAB of times, but I have to say the first 1 is much better but part 2 was excellent also, I wouldnt call either of them bad, there both verryrry funny, can't wait for ' Little Fockers ' di nero has already signed up for it

I'd heard it was going to be called The GodFocker, but it's funny either way.

Hope they don't drop the ball with it anyway.

I hated it.

It was full of brilliant actors whose talent was totally wasted on a rubbishy script full of infantile "humour". IMO.

I agree with Artymags. It was wank. There is a great cast list there, and nothing decent was done with them. In this, I include the original film, and every DeNiro film of the past fifteen years.
