Does anybody know when this is due for release in the UK?

I have heard that it will be out in the US before Christmas but cannot find any UK release dates.

Meet the Parents is one of the funniest films ever made, so lets hope this is just as good!
 
Went to the premier of "Meet the Fockers" here in NYC on Monday night. A lot of the industry was there, Robert DeNiro spoke before hand. Good hype...lots of disappointed people.

I was a REALLY big fan of "Meet the Parents." I rarely laugh in movies, and I was rolling out of my chair when I first saw it. It was even funny subsequent times. Rarely sequels are as good as the first, but this surprised me. It didn't have the same intelligence in its humor. A lot of it was silly and forced.

Barbara Streisand, it is worth noting, was great. She was perfect for the role, and she totally embrace the character. It was fun to watch her, and I've never been a big fan.

I recommend that you see it, but be prepared.
 
I agree with you. Worthy sequel, very funny. At the screening I went to I laughed out loud ( and very hard ) on a number of occasions, but some scenes were clearly written as set pieces of comedy rather than naturally funny moments ( if you know what I mean ), and perhaps too many gags from the original were revisited. Go see it though, you'll have a great time, I just hope they don't try and stretch the joke to a third one though.
