Still, you can learn to hold onto the things that don't suck so much, that's it's usually almost enough. It's way better than the alternative hun. You can smile, and mean it. :D
 
You're sweet, and I certainly try. But sometimes it just seems like too much. One thing after another happens and pretty soon it's just unbelievable. Blah. But, thank god for Modest Mouse. :P
 
If everything was great all the time, life would be boring and predictable. When shit happens here and there, the good stuff seems so much better.

I've found that viewing back over the bad during the good times in life makes you stronger. :thumbsup:

Also, when life provides you with an opportunity to make a new word, you've got to grab that bull by the horns and ride that mofo until he drops dead. Then you slice him open like a Tuan Tuan and start digging through his entrails until you find your new word. Sure it's gonna smell bad but hey, new word.

I think that's the wrong outlook to take.


I think life is awesome. There's so many people I can appreciate as well as cool and fun things to see/do/whatever.

It's true, shit does happen... but fuck it. Not like it doesn't happen to everybody. Just handle it the best way you know how and keep focusing on stuff that makes you happy.

The point isn't in the good or bad end result. Its in the fight getting there. If you don't like the result, keep fighting for it until you do. Then you have to fight harder to hold onto it.
