My allergies are horrible this year and I suffer from violent sneezing. I have not been able to find any medication except Benadryl that will stop it. I can't take that during the day because it makes me so sleepy. I used to take Tylenol Severe Allergy, but can't find them in stores anymore. Any suggestions?

WHat else have you taken that didn't work. Don;'t want to suggest something you've already tried.

Benadryl, Tylenol Allergy, Claritin, and Sudafed. I would also like a recommendation for allergy eye drops.

Zyrtec works well for many people. Also, you could try a steroid or antihistamine nasal spray, available by prescription. (Ironically, the over-the-counter nasal sprays are not safe to be used regularly.)

I have taken Zyrtec in the past-kind of like Claritin, works for most symptoms, but not sudden onset of sneezing. I have to be careful with nose sprays, sometimes they backfire and I sneeze even more. Ugh-just ready for it to be cooler so this will go away!
