I always appreciated Wolverine from the X-Men because of his extremely slow aging process. That always fascinated me because he could live up to well over 100 years, probably near 300 and up, but I always wondered if there are medications or tests being done to enhance ones life. Is any scientific/medical feild working on a drug or a fluid that when ingested or applied to the human body, it can instantly give a person a couple of years of life, assuming they can live healthy without getting serious, fatal diseases?
Is such research being done? I'm 21 years old and I wonder if I'll ever live to see the day where health care companies will come up with drugs that will literally increase your average lifespan to as much as your body can withstand. What I mean is, you can keep taking it over and over until your body eventually doesn't want it anymore. Is that type of life enhancer being researched? If so, could you link some articles? I heard nano-technology pretty much will cover almost every field of medical science and science alone in the near future, so I wonder if it will cover longer life too?
