I have been selling medical supplies for a couple of years now and in spite of the good money I am making, there is no security - just living from commission to commission, no pension plan and everything seems to be on the edge even when a fat check arrives. Very different from the people working in the practices where I make my sales - they look so more relaxed and enjoying their work compared to me. I would like to change my career and go back to school - I am still young and I am not worried about putting up with it - just a little worried that I would trade my sales income (relatively high) for something with less figures. Is there any guidance on medical careers or how much medical practitioners are making these days?
