Media have been performing like trained seals for Obama?

Every socialist/communist state also needs a propaganda ministry and the complete management of the news media. Even though the news media have been performing like trained seals for Obama, these were not enough. On July 30th, former CBS News anchor Dan Rather called for a "White House commission on public media" to be established. (3) in the name of democracy. This is nothing short of a propaganda ministry. We must remember Nazi Germany and Hitler's propaganda minister, Dr Joseph Goebbels, who was given the job of deceiving the German people for their own good. It was Goebbels who said, "Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play." I have no doubt that if Dr. Goebbels were still alive, Obama would hire him. Here is one more infamous quote from Dr. Joseph Goebbels: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can sheild the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the state to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

And what is it you think they have been doing for Bush all these years? Please here is a dime go buy yourself a reality check!

Comparing Obama's USA with Nazi Germany is a despicable insult to the people who died in the holocaust and in the war. You have no idea how wrong you are.

"I have no doubt that if Dr. Goebbels were still alive, Obama would hire him."

Then you are bat$h1t crazy.

What colour is Barack Obama's skin? What happened to people with skin that colour in Nazi Germany?

Socialism and communism are not equivalent. The Republican propaganda machine is quite strong in its own right. There are plenty of instances of Republicans caught telling lies so people in glass houses shouldn't be quite so self righteous as this rant is. I've lived in the U.S. and in Europe with socialized health care. My personal experiences lead me to feel the health care system in Europe is more equitable and beneficial to its society. My husband is a research engineer and when he worked in the U.S. the company paid half our insurance premiums. We still had to pay hundreds out of pocket to have coverage and had a deductible to pay and many things that might not be included. Here we pay 10% more in tax but we have no concerns about health care or education. When my father-in-law had a stroke he got excellent care and rehab both in patient and well after at home. Some of this care would never have been covered or covered fully by our policy in the U.S.. I think health care reform in the U.S. is needed but its a complex issue that needs to be looked at in a balanced way. Socialized health care can become too bureaucratic and become over expensive or sub-substandard too. It takes watchdogs and oversight either way. In general though I prefer our system greatly. The private health care industry in the U.S. has run rampant over the system, too much lobby power and not enough input and oversight from the consumers.

Also, that Dr. Goebbels bit has also been applied to President Bush's handling and use of propaganda in the rush to the Iraq war post 9/11.
