A water rocket, launched from the ground, rises vertically with acceleration of 30 m/s^2 for 1.0 s when it runs out of "fuel." Disregarding air resistance, how high will the rocket rise?

The answer is 61 m but I got 15 m (d= vt + 1/2at^2). If you plug it into that formula you get 15m. Someone please explain to me why its 61m.
