used car i might buy? i already know a few things that would be easy to spot:
-cv joints going bad
-any type of oil or coolant leaks
-any sounds of knocks or ticks from the motor
-erratic idle
-grinds or slips in the tranny
but is there anything else i should lok at or listen for when observing a car that im thinking of buying? i mean i could take it to a mechanic but they can olnly look at so much short of taking the motor apart..
So please tell me what else i need to look closesly at as i dont want to buy a car that is just going to give me nothing but problems! thanks
