Ok, so divorce is inevitable.
I am a professional mechanic and got served the "asset" papers.
In it she has listed $5K in mechanic tools.
Can I really lose my tools that I work with?
If I have to lose them (half anyway) can I just give her the tools, and not the cash equivalent?
Can I deny the tools are valued at that amount? (I really only have about $2500 in tools)
Also what about debt? She forgot about tax debt from a business, and student loans.
Any input would be great.
