I finally saw this on DVD.
I thought it was a good movie and not your typical "teen movie".
Yes, it had the staple trappings like the dance, the boyfriend, the quirky best friends, etc...
But the whole point of the movie was to expose people to what really goes on with teenage girls -- like the book does -- And if you look at it in a serious light, it's pretty sobering and not something that parents should take lightly.
I'm going to listen to the commentary by Tina Fey because I am really curious to know how she structured the movie and created the characters considering it is based on a non-fiction book and it is just the subject matter she used as the basis for the story.
Does anyone know what the song was they played toward the end when Lindsey is giving a recap of where everyone was after the Spring Fling (before the credits roll)?
I know I've heard that song before and I think it's an '80s song if I am not mistaken?
