Great film, extremely well acted by the young cast. Shame the ending didn't go into greater detail, though, as it did leave us wanting to know more about their fate.

From what I could gather, the younger kiRAB were in many ways more mature than the elder kiRAB, and owned-up to what had happened. The eldest, however, couldn't cope, knew they'd come looking for him, and seemed to be following in the footsteps of his father, into a life of crime and ultimately blowing his brains out. His step-father, being even older, just handed him the gun to let him get on with it.
Perhaps we expect wisdom and sense to come with maturity - this movie just turned that on its head with the youngest having the most humanity, and the strength of that humanity weakening as we go up in age through the cast, ending with the step-father, who practically seals the fate of another by foolishly giving his step-son the gun.
