Me=:Owned: Wii console save memory is corrupted. Boo-urns.

Yeah.....and they WERE gonna charge me the $5 for shipping but they waived it. It should be here within three to four business days so probably next Monday.

They also took my credit card info just in case I don't ship it back. Heck. As long as they fix it perfectly I'm fine with that.
 
that would suck if you bought bunch of VC games, because you can't transfer them to the new system. i'm guessing in that case, nintendo would just credit your wii points
 
Awesome. They really make this easy for us, and they seem to accept responsibility for hardware failures. That and they don't make you pay a load of money to fix it

Sorry to ask but how can I transfer over my Address Book and Mii Channel stuff?

I'm too lazy to check my instruction manual.

Can I save them onto a Gamecube memory card?
 
Well. If you can't even provide them a legit serial number then what's the use.

But if ya do you're still gonna have to provide them a credit card number. You pay either way.
 
Well. It happened again.

I exited Wii Sports using the HOME button and got the CORRUPTED MEMORY message again. So I unplugged all the cables to let it chill for a few minutes....



My replacement can't get here soon enough.
