Me, my grandad, and a CAR! HELP?

Im nearing school soon, and i need and want a car, doesnt matter, ill except a used one, but i can i approach my grandad about possibly getting a car... He's the "bank" in the family lol
Im not being mean by calling him the bank, clearly I put lol and its a joke, and im a teen not an adult
 
I'd ask him, but i would not expect him to pay for it. I'd offer to pay him back. To me that would be the appropriate thing to do.
 
i understand going away to school and needing a form of transportation, but come on have some respect u called yur dear grandpa a bank. how about u save up and buy yurself a beater.
