Me and Orson Welles - 25th Nov.

I'm sure Orson Welles would be chuffed to know he's the subject of a 21st Century 'chick flick', 'rom com', whatever the f*** this pile of s*** is!

Saw it yesterday at the Gate cinema in Notting Hill where there was a preview screening followed by a live Q+A session with the director Richard Linklater and the stars themselves, including Zac!

The film is amazing, and is not a chick flick *at all* so do your research before insulting something you clearly know nothing about. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Got to meet Zac afterwarRAB as well which was a lovely bonus, such a lovely lad in every respect. :)

Yes, it's very good. Christian McKay is superb as Welles and Claire Danes is really good too. The young guy who's in it a lot, I forget his name, I don't think he's really right for chick flicks like this. He's too good an actor to waste his time on silly dance moves and trying to sing in tune. Luckily he gets the chance to recite a complete speech from Shakespeare which is clearly more his thing.

I didn't know anything about it when I went to watch it. I thought it was a 'meh' film. I didn't really like it, but I didn't hate it either and was able to sit through the whole thing quite comfortably. Christian McKay was good as Orson Welles and Efron was decent. I found the whole relationship between Efron and Danes quite weird - what is the age difference? I was also really let down by the ending!
