Me and my sister are debating on this. We need your opinions !?

We want to start selling handmade things online like pillows, wallets, bags, plush dolls. Things along those lines. Well anyway, I think that we should keep it simple but she thinks that we should add eyes to everything. For example, we are planning on selling heart shaped pillows, I want them to be plain and she wants us to put fake eyeballs on them. What do you think will sell more? any suggestions for other things we can sell are appreciated.
 
For example if you making 10 pillows 9 or 8 of them is simple design 1-2 is with eyeball or put anything you want hows that ^_^
 
As long as the eyeballs don't interfere with the comfort or function of the item, I think it is a good idea. It is unusual yes, but done well it could be a good thing.

the reason is it is an element that will identify your particular brand and differentiate you from everyone else, and THAT is ALWAYS a good thing.

Something else to consider, in that your items would be handcrafted....you could put a small serial number or date on each item....if you are still doing this 10 years down the road and your designer namebrand has a good following....the older stuff might have greater value. If you happen to make a unique item, or just 7 or 8 of a particular design....you could keep records of this...perhaps even post it on your website. Many people like owning one of a kinds, or limited editions...these are just things that can help set your crafts apart from others.
