McCain's afraid to debate?

Really? Because as I recall he's the one proposed in the beginning a series of 13 town hall style debates. Which Obama originally agreed to but eventually backed out of completely. Am I wrong? Why is everyone jumping at this saying McCain's afraid of something? He's a bad guy because he's gone back to Washington to be the statesman that he is while Obama balks and hesitates....again?
 
yep, Obama NEEDS a teleprompter and prepared statements.

That's why he is scared to death of being in a town hall meeting with McCain.

Can you imagine watching 90 minutes of Obama saying "uh" and "er" every 5 seconds?
