McCain, not fit to lead?

McCain admits to being poor on economics but that his strong suit was foreign policy and Iraq.

McCain: "I can look you in the eye and tell you it's succeeding," he said. "We have drawn down to pre-surge levels. Basra, Mosul and now Sadr city are quiet."

Obama: "This is the guy who says I need more knowledge. I don't think tens of thousands of American troops amounts to nitpicking. Tell that to the young men and women who are serving bravely and brilliantly under our flag. Tell that to the families who have seen their loved ones fight tour after tour after tour of duty in a war that should've never been authorized and never been waged. It's time for a debate that's based on the truth, and I can't think of anything more important than how many Americans are in harm's way."

I don't when you look at each of candidates, there isn't much that seperates them. McCain and Clinton are basically the same on most issues, with Obama being extremely far left.

McCain doesn't have to have experience in economics, that's our function. We determine recessions or good times by how we spend our money. Plus, economic changes usually occur by the Federal Reserve which the president has influence but not enough to make a significant impact. Legistlation comes from our congress, President can veto... but he has advisors.

What bothers me about Obama is he has no real leadership experience. He ran for congress in Illinois, now he wants to be president. His own people say his biggest strength is as a "community organizer". Scary.
