at least the man is a war veteran and POW survivor. WTF did Obama do?

Not sticking up for McCain, but Obama's experience doesn't even qualify him to be a mayor or governor, much less the president.
 
So you support giant government programs that provide useless work? Tanks, plans, and soldierry do not provide any economic benefit. If we spend a million bucks making a tank, yes, that 500,000 in labor gets rolled over into the economy (broken window fallacy) but the 500,000 in material is still a tank, bomb, aircraft carrier, whatever, and useless for generating economic output. It's actually BETTER for the economy to just give the money to poor people because they go spend ALL of it on goods and services (provided by middle class americans, upper class americans, poor americans, etc), putting it all back into the economy.

Neither one is a net good for the economy though, since it would be more efficient to just let the capital allocate itself rather than have the government do it.

Do you understand how you contradict all your own theories in making this claim?
 
Wind seems to be doing well in Europe. I see those windmills everywhere. Isn't it estimated to be like 10% of the world's power supply in the next 10 years or something?
 
Your tangents are getting boring.

I just proved, using your own source (which you obviously didn't read), that nuclear energy plants, once set up, are FAR cheaper than the leading alternatives.
 
Tell you what. Provide support for ANY of your extreme and outlandish claims in this thread:


1) Obama doesn't want to use nuclear plants

2) The Iraq war, and all wars, are the greatest (or even a good) economic stimulus there is.

3) Nobody cares about the Iraq war anymore.
