Eh, not all environmentalists seem rational to me. I love the Earth and don't wish uneccessary pollution of air, land, or water but I think you can go about things carefully without asking too much of the Earth. I mean, there is always going to be some bi-product, emission, and disruption to the natural environment where you have human activity, but you have to sacrifice something for progress. We shouldn't forsake our energy needs just because we want to guard our shoes from offshore drilling. I do like that MCCain wants to have states decide what they want to do in regards to drilling but over the next several months, you're going to see people's tunes change. Their driving habits and behaviors are already changing. People are going to be demanding more domestic drilling and more interest in satisfying our energy needs, however that comes about, whether it's nuclear, wind, or solar.
