McCain gun control debate?

I am doing a debate in my class with the elections. we each have either obama or mccain and then an issue. Mine is gun control pro mccain. What are somethings my challnger could question me about? I really want to be prepared. Thank you!

I wouldn't say he's more anti-gun than Obama, but he definitely is NOT pro-gun.
 
He'll probably ask why McCain thinks 8 year-olds should be able to play with Uzis at gun shows...

If you look back a few years, you'll find McCain was even more anti-gun than Obama!
 
Well as a gun owner in a state that is very very hard on guns, a democrat and Obama supporter I can weigh in here.

I'll say that I have several guns that are 'regulated' so I had to jump through some hoops but I didn't mind at all - I'm not a psycho and if I want to go on an elk hunt I plan it out - so I don't mind waiting periods, background checks etc.

John McCain is a political panderer that will talk a good game but when you look at his record, he's shown to be the liar.

In my opinion - pick another topic - if your adversary looks at this stuff he's going to congratulate you for agreeing with him on most issues.
