Hi,

I unlocked (or tried?) the MC60 using the M55 tool by WC-PICKER. Programm seams to run fine, Phone, software release and IMEI were detected correctly, every respond was ok. But after removing the data cable, I was not able to turn on power. I am shure that the batterie is full (charged with other S 55). But I have the impression that the MC60 now also will not charge its batterie.
Does anybody have an idea how to proceed? Any appropriate software or instruction?

br now have to update software version of your mobile.go to this page www.siemensfreaks.com or www.gsm-multifund.de there you can find some updates for MC60.But it depend on what version the MC60 had before you tried to unlock it.Do not put the higest version so that you can still have other versions as a solution to update it.post for results

best regards

The original software version is 7. But I tried also with loading software version 10. Same problem: Not able to power on

Ok i have an idea, it happens one time with me with my M55 with software FREIA, but it was not dangerous, just remove your battery and reinsert it, and retry to Power ON.

It works for me

Same problem here....please help me!! Heheh..

I tried flashing the bootcore with another file but now it won't even turn on again, when I tried to flash back my backup it says waiting to turn on the phone, but it's not turning on so how can I flash?

After flashing back the bootcore it should work again?

Does someone have a good MC60 v10 bootcore?

No need to repair the TP after that right?

Last but not least, torx 6 right?

If your MC60 was v10:

write 2MB Boot FUBU
write 14MB FUBU
unlock with original IMEI
correct contrast

That should revive your phone.

How can I write something when the programs say 'Waiting for phone power on...' but when pressing the power button, it won't react. I haven't opened my telephone before I did this, I used the Java bootpatch.

Do I need to cut the testpoint? And after flashing things back repair it again?

Freia 9:

This is the same for all boottypes!

Freia15 gives the same.

I hope for you. Because the Javamidlet can write only to bootcore

Use any MC60 bootcore (But it must the bootcore from a MC60!)

Tell me how you will do it?

No, T5!

I have readed bootcore from MC60, both
original and Java patched.

I'll try this

Thans for help!

Ok, now I need to open that bitch. Seems a big problem with those little screws, any other way to open it with normal tools instead of those special tools?

After that? Just normal boottype, then flash back the bootcore.

Repair testpoint.

Flash full 14mb fubu?

Cutting TP and after that I flashed it with original Siemens.com update...everything works fine again.

Torx 5 was indeed needed to open the telephone and with bad eyes you shouldn't try to cut the TP as it's REALLY small. I did it with a very small screwdriver, lots of light and with the ***** eye, works perfect now!
