1. you will need freia 10 or 15 (it's free search in net)

2. download the mc60 boot repair file (use this link or search in the forum)

(just register)

3- download the mc60 fubu (search in this forum or contact me by ICQ)

4. now select in freia MC60 Boot

5. open mc60 boot repair file and write it as Firmware (important)

6- now select in freia MC60

7. write full flash with mc60fubu

8. direct unlock no map is saved, use original imei

thats all

posted specially for my freind MAKREM (MicMac in this forum) that requested 40 Dinard to revive my MC60 with this solution.

I tried the link you suggested and it's a yahoogroups forum that accepts only invited people.

Help me, It's been 2 days since my phone is dead.

Other repair solution for mc60(v10):
1. Flash phone freia8 as m55 with flash 'SIEMENS M55 LGX VFF - 00800000.FLS' (8 MB)adr. 0x800000 - 0xffffff, select Firmware
2. Flash phone freia10 as mc60 (no boot!) with fullflash 14 mb, select Firmware
3. you can upload eeprom, then unlock phone "use original imei" and repair contrast

hi, when i try to flash boot as firmware it answer me
COMM_SendBoot : boot file is not accepted
i need to do testpoint?
 
Check config first:

Set bootType to bootcore bug and try it again.

If it is not working you need testpoint! But I suggest you to use the Java midlet methode! (not working with v13)
 
i made testpoint and so i could flash phone, i made all (also flash eprom because after full flash says corrupt) then unlock ... now no more bzzzz, but phone not powering on.
should be powering on with testpoint or i need to remake track and then try to power up? i haven't understand this thing.

No, you don't need to restore testpoint!

Make your phone a blue screen?

Maybe you have to write 2 MB of bootarea.l
 
Mate, phone doesn't make anything, no blue screen, nothing ... i wrote 2MB bootarea, selected mc60 boot and flashing it as firmware ... like naahou2000 explained ...
i've redone 4 times, but no success.
2mb boot (in mc60 boot mode and with bootcore bug selected), then (in mc 60 mode) 14 mb fubu, eprom (it says corrupt so i flash), at the and unlock, result, phone not powering up and no more bzzz

what's wrong?
 
I had the same problem with about four phones.Normaly used and accidentaly dead.Flashed with winswup-no succes,unlocked-no succes...I was very angry.So I made testpoint,reed fubu from good MC60 (v.10 with patched bootcore) by V_Klay and so this FuBu uploaded to dead MC60 and than unlocked by Freia 15 with Original IMEI and phone LIVE!!!I have 100% success for four phones.If you want I will post you my FuBu.It is MC60 v.10 with patched bootcore red by V_Klay.You can contact me via ICQ...

it happened many times that phone not power on, but really all is OK, problem is contrast, do the contrast to 75% and phone must power on.
 
which program do you suggest for that? i've found siemens contrast tool, it is good?
i've only to find a serial cable ... maybe is easier to find a usb cable.
at the moment i'm using box (ufs-3) cable.
 
Contrast tool is very good.

Check if you have the newest version (v.1.40)

Then try to set contrast. You need a com-cable or an USB Cable with COM emulation.
 
i've used a siemens usb original cable, redone entire procedure with freia 1.8, at the end i've used siemens contrast tool 1.20, but program start reseting and stops on waiting for boot
 
The phone must be powered off and if it is waiting for boot you have to power on the phone shortly.
