I have a Roland RD-300GX stage piano that has both normal MIDI outputs and also a USB MIDI out. I'm running Pro-tools 8 with an MBox2-Pro connected to my pc via FireWire. Is there anyway for me to use the stage piano as a midi controller for the pro-Tools plugins using the USB out? The Mbox doesn't have a USB in, so the piano would have to be connected straight to the PC.
I do intend to get a couple of MIDI cables, which I know would solve any problems, but I'm just looking for something to do in the meantime.
Any help would be much appreciated.
