Mazda tribute abs and parking brake light?

Hi,
I have a Mazda tribute 2004, occasionally when driving the abs and parking light turn on, on my dashboard, it happens when I accelerate but may turn off when I brake but will come back on when I accelerate.
I have taken it to my mechanic to put on the machine and he said he needs the light to turn on when he puts it on the machine and just my luck when he has it, it doesn’t turn on. Luckily he hasn’t charged me but is what he said correct??? And what could the problem be and what should I do next???

The first thing you should check is your brake fluid level. It might be fine, but I have seen many cars come in with those lights on and they just have low brake fluid levels. You can usually find your brake fluid reservoir near the firewall on the drivers side. You could also just look in your owners manual. It will say where it is located.

Someone needs to check ALL the sensors for rust and corrosion and make you don't need new pads or shoes
