Mazda RX-8 or Mazdaspeed3?

If you have kids or a dog or like to go camping or ride a bike or kayak or are in a rock band then the Mazdaspeed3 is your car, dude. It is incredibly versatile and high performance. The RX-8 is an amazing piece of art and engineering and is like a trophy wife....really good for one thing only...driving. You really have to drive both before making a decision. Which ever you get just make sure it's got a manual transmission.

If you want a car that you can just jump in and go as well as just turn off and walk away from, get the Mazda Speed 3.
If you are willing to let a car warm up and can wait for it to idle down along with a few other things that need attention to detail, think about the RX-8.
While both are nice performance cars, the RX-8 is more demanding when it comes to operation. As a result it will be more fustrating for a casual driver.
 
RX-8 for sure. The 3 is nice, but its bigger and front wheel drive. If you have to haul a lot of crap the 3 would def be a good car, but if you don't, the RX-8 is sweet. I scond boneheads demands for you to get a manual. The Mazdaspeed 3 will only be available in manual, but the RX-8 can come with an auto. Don't make that choice, manual is the only way to go.
