Mazda RX 8 NON-FI Upgrades???????????

I am looking to do some upgrades to my 2005 Mazda RX-8 ( Shinka, 28k miles ) I have a great idea of exterior and ICE but not sure what to do about the motor. I have tons of fun with the stock power but it could always use a little more, so what would be some good modest mods non FI that would produce noticable gains without breaking the bank..I plan to make it more of a head turner than a speed deamon as i have a young daughter and too much power on tap will just get me in trouble or worse....thanks
Just for those of you who think i should grow up..im 23 and i am not like these other ass clowns who like to speed, i have every intention of watching my daughter grow up so if you dont have any helpful feedback stay outta my kool-aid............
 
u want some more power buy a cold air intake you will feel da differcne rite way and it gives it a whole different sound i recommend an aem or k&n i personal have a aem on mine but they are about 350 plus about 2 hour 2 install but if u want go to ebay and search cold air intake just be careful
